Psychological Opinion Oscillator

The description of this indicator was taken from the internet:

How does it work?
PSY, as an indicator, is the ratio of the number of rising periods over the total number of periods. It reflects the buying power in relation to the selling power.

If PSY is above 50%, it indicates that buyers are in control. Likewise, if it is below 50%, it indicates the sellers are in control. If the PSY moves along the 50% area, it indicates balance between the buyers and sellers and therefore there is no direction movement for the market.

Trading Signals
You may also look for a divergence signal. When the prices make a new high (low) while PSY does not make a new high (low), it signals the divergence. You should take caution when you trade.

this indicator doesnt do autotrades?

cant someone make a strategy with this indicator?

This error appeared because you tried to compile an indicator through strategy editor.
Try to open indicator editor, open this indicator and compile.

I think, that period = 7 is not very good.
10 is the best!

I think you should try to use it with period = 7.
It works even with this period. But it works better on long time intervals like 1-2-4 hours.

I agree with cstrike.
Most indicators work only on long time intervals (4 hour or 1 day). But this indicator shows good results even on the 15 minutes chart.
